I guess I was probably destined to be a letting agent….
I grew up in the Epping area until I was a teenager when we moved to Bishop’s Stortford. I am the daughter of an entrepreneurial, wonderful lady, who taught me what it was to work hard.

Mum and I
Mum has always been involved in property, flipping houses over the years and turning a profit, and then later building up a portfolio of rental properties in and around Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and Braintree. Growing up I spent much of my time on building sites, often getting stuck in, helping the builders in my school holidays. I learnt about home staging and how to decorate a property to sell or let it, so it’s been second nature to me ever since. We moved a LOT as mum moved us from one project to the next, but it’s taught me to be a minimalist (who wants more stuff to pack all the time!), entrepreneurial, driven and property runs in my blood.
My spare time…(what little I have!)
As much as I work hard, I think it’s important to have time off too. I am lucky that I have a hobby that keeps me pretty busy outside of the world of property, and it forces me to unwind. I am a competitive dressage rider, and between my mum and I we have 9 horses at this moment in time. My holidays are spent travelling to competitions and I love it! Not only do I love riding, training and competing, but the social element is fantastic too. I’ve made lifelong friends through horses and I’ve even met some clients that way too.

Growing my portfolio
As a landlord myself, I truly believe in property as an investment. Even with sky high house prices, tax changes and new legislation, you can absolutely still invest in property. With the right advice (this is key) and as long as you think long term, then property can be a great investment. I certainly plan to keep growing my own portfolio and currently own properties in Stansted and Braintree.

The future
I love working in property and my aim is to continue to serve my existing landlords well, but I do have some capacity for more new landlords. Since expanding in to the Braintree area for lettings, as well as serving Bishop’s Stortford, this has been an exciting time for me. I’d love to speak to more landlords in the Braintree, Dunmow and Bishop’s Stortford areas, plus all the surrounding towns and villages too. I plan to keep my business of a size that I can look after my clients with the personal touch, and not grow so large that my standards drop. Naturally though over time, some landlords sell their properties so I do have capacity available. If you’re looking for a letting agent that can offer you the personal touch, then I’d love to help.
